Hi, I am Maria Steurer and I own and operate All Your Animals LLC.

My motto is “straight from the heart animal care”, and I mean it.

From early childhood on I was surrounded by animals. The ones in need have always crossed my path. Caring for these animals came naturally. In order to improve my care giving abilities I was seeking advice from experts to gain in depth knowledge about the specific needs of different animal species.

Back in Austria, where I was born, I owned and managed a horse boarding facility. Since I came to the USA in 2001 until 2008 I received tremendous training and gained hands on experience as a zoo keeper in Tallahassee. My responsibilities involve not only cleaning the habitats and feeding but also to medicate the animals and assist with medical procedures performed by veterinarians. I also volunteer at Florida Wild Mammal Association in Crawfordvile where I help raising and caring for orphaned animals. Since 2009 I had the wonderful opportunity to receive training with Dr. Norm Griggs at the Shepherd Spring Animal Hospital where I work as veterinarian technician.

Over the years, I observed certain patterns in animal behavior. They like a stable and structured environment to develop their full potential. As a result of applying my knowledge about animal behavior, our own pets, which all came to us with their own little “baggage”, really get along very well.
